Meeting since 2016, we\u2019re a welcoming group of users, WP professionals and everyone between. We\u2019ve had people aged 18 to 88+ come out, and we\u2019d love to see you, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where:<\/strong>  Volta Classroom. 1505 Barrington street<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When:<\/strong>  7-9pm, Wednesday, July 17 (please <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"RSVP (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetup.com\/WordPress-Halifax\/events\/262869618\/\" target=\"_blank\">RSVP<\/a> as we have limited seats)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cost:<\/strong> Our meetups are always free of charge.<br><br><strong>What:<\/strong> Sometimes we have a local speaker come in to talk about a WordPress related topic for an hour. Then we follow up with a Happiness Bar.<br><br>Now, <em>what in the heck is a Happiness Bar<\/em> you\u2019re wondering\u2026 While we can\u2019t provide booze, we can provide smiles! The Happiness Bar is a chance to spend a few minutes with someone to get you unstuck. Topics that we cover include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>New To WordPress: for those just starting out or considering WP<\/li><li>Technical SOS: when you see code you don&#8217;t understand, hosting issues, etc<\/li><li>Graphics &amp; Themes: help with CSS, themes and other items that deal with the aesthetics of your content<\/li><li>Marketing &amp; Audience: help with getting more traffic, newsletters and critiques on the user experience of your site<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that this is on a volunteer basis and depends on who shows up. You may need to talk to a few people to get something corrected, or at least point you in the right direction. In return, we ask that you pay it forward: come back to the Meetup so that you can help others with the new things you learn! Or, join the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Facebook Group (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1821006484793277\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook Group<\/a> and chime in when you know the answer to something. It is important to bring a device to log into your site with. It\u2019s hard to trouble shoot your special circumstance without it \ud83d\ude0a <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who Can Come To The Meetup?
